A dedicated hosting service, dedicated server, or unmanaged hosting service is a type of Internet hosting in which you lease an entire server not shared with anyone. This is more flexible than shared hosting, as you will have full control over the server(s), including choice of operating system, hardware, etc. Server administration is handled by yourself in terms of software, but we provide 24/7 support for hardware related tasks.
Hardware Raid
This feature allows you to have a hardware RAID controller in order to manage the RAID independently from the host and presents to the host only a single disk per RAID array.
BGP Session
BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) is a protocol that manages how packets are routed across the internet through the exchange of routing and reachability information between edge routers.
DDoS Protection
This feature allows you to have DDoS protection on the service being rented. Mitigation methods might vary depending on the location. DDoS attacks can threaten service performance or even shut down a service entirely.
Private Network
This feature allows you to connect servers through the location’s local area network. Note that this requires at least two servers, and options and bandwidth speeds in the local network will depend on the location.
Additional IP
This feature allows you to buy additional IPs to be used on the server as secondary IPs, either before or after delivery of the server.
Firewall
This feature allows you to use a hardware firewall present in the concerned location. Models and features will depend on availability and location of the server. You may request this feature by ticket if it isn’t available in the cart.
Backup
This feature allows you to create backups of your server’s content, if the location allows it. Methods and frequency of backups will depend on the location. You may request this feature by ticket if it isn’t available in the cart.
IPv6
This feature allows you to use IPv6 addresses either as main IPs or as secondary/fail-over IPs in the concerned location. Implementation of IPv6 depends on the location and availability.
